 Emperor Coins & Collectibles is owned and operated by private collector Roy Pope, Jr. of Mobile, Alabama. This site features modern and old coins from around the world, and ancient coins dating back 2,000 years through history to the times of the great emperors of Rome, Greece, and the rest of the known world.
From time to time, fake coins and other collectibles have found their way into my collections. I acquired most of these forgeries knowing full well that they were fakes, not for any other reason than that they still make themselves to be beautiful works of art and interesting conversation pieces. These have also been added to this site for display purposes only. The fakes (counterfeit coins) at Emperor Coins are not for sale, nor will they ever be offered for sale.
I personally guarantee each and every item that I sell at Emperor Coins & Collectibles to be genuine, as described on their respective pages of this site. If one of the items sold at my site is ever found to be fake or not as described, I will cheerfully refund every cent my customer spent in purchasing that item - including any shipping and insurance charges - in accordance with my guarantee and refund policy posted in this site's Store Policies.
Collecting - whether it be ancient coins, banknotes, or postage stamps (or whatever else you may collect) - can be a fun and rewarding experience. It gives you an opportunity to step back through time, to actually touch a fragment of history that forged the foundations of the world in which we live today. It gives you the opportunity to witness for yourselves true portraits of great kings and emperors, their palaces and their traditions, preserved in metal, wood and paper for all times.
